Bold, rich, and a little rebellious — Uncaged is a handcrafted soap inspired by the powerful character of the wine used to create it. This bar is made with Z. Alexander Brown Uncaged Cabernet Sauvignon, a whiskey barrel–aged red known for its structured tannins and deep, layered flavor. The wine’s bold personality and warm complexity helped inspire a soap that feels just as indulgent and unforgettable.

Each bar is topped with tiny wine bottles and glasses that add a playful nod to the wine that inspired it. These toppers are not soap — they can be removed before use and kept as a cute keepsake to enjoy long after the bar is gone.

The fragrance is dark, luxurious, and slightly mysterious. Juicy black currant and ripe blackberry open the scent with rich fruitiness, while saffron and absinthe bring an intriguing, aromatic edge. As it settles, warm vanilla, musk, anise, and amber create a smooth, velvety base that feels deep, seductive, and perfectly suited to the spirit of the wine.

I was a little sad to pour it into soap instead of a glass! But the result is a bar that feels just as rich and indulgent in its own way.
